no encryption after changing a key

Hi,
I have the following problem.
I lost my passphrase and applied for new pgp keys. I sent new public key to my friend, but since then his Thunderbird does not encrypt e-mails with my public key. Thunderbird does not report any errors, but just ignors encryption process. He deleted the old key before importing the new one.

When I send a message to myself encryption process is works fine.

Anyone knows why?
