how to import public key

Postby langdonb » 19th Apr 2011 20:54

I cannot seem to import a public key sent to me in this form:
-----BEGIN PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
Version: PGP Desktop 10.1.1 (Build 10) - not licensed for commercial use: http://www.pgp.com

MpHJqOidkGKMQfpyjDo=

-----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----

I do not have a key ID nor a .asc file. Is there a way to import a key in this form? I use TBird/enigmail on OS X mac...

Thanks.

Use the Decrypt button to import the key. If this doesn't work, then copy & paste the file into TextEdit. In TextEdit choose Format > Make Plain Text, then save the file. Finally, switch to the OpenPGP Key Manager in Thunderbird (OpenPGP > Key Management) and choose File > Import Keys from File.
